Women's Ministry

The Women of Emmanuel United Methodist Church encourages ladies of all ages to participate in ministry projects at the local, district, state and global level.

An annual fund-raiser project is implemented during the month of June in the form of a spiritual play entitled, "Behold the Bridegroom Commeth". Women sponsor ladies of Emmanuel and other local churches in a song portrayal of the Fruit of the Spirit from Galations 5: 22- love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), faithfulness, kindness (gentleness), and goodness.

Another ministry opportunity for young women ages 25-35 is Daughters of Destiny. This ministry's focus is to prepare and shape young women to become women of virtue in order to take their rightful place with Man according to the will of God.
