Greetings from the rural metropolis of Palatka, Florida-USA where I am so fortunate to be the Servant Leader of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Emmanuel is the English rendering of the Greek word meaning "God with Us." The essence of our gatherings has become just that, opportunities for us to encounter God's manifest presence. It is my prayer and desire that these "Encounters with God" will not only occur in Worship and Prayer, but in our small group and community focus ministries as well. We are a community of oneness seeking ways whereby God's redeeming love, grace, and mercy can become our motif operandi (mode of operation). Because God through Jesus our Savior and Lord has been so gracious to us we sense a call to share what God has freely given to us with others.

Emmanuel is a No Dress Code church that really believes the heart of a person is of the utmost importance. Our Worship team employs an eclectic approach and utilizes multiple situates. Multi-Media Presentations, the Performing Arts, Hymns, Anthem, Choral, Gospel, Rock, and Hip-Hop, are all used to create an ethos that will bring the worshipers into an "Encounter with God."
